By downloading or using IsoHappy (“the Software”), published by Serious Business Software LLC, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

IsoHappy Free: Granted free of charge for personal and evaluation use to mount images, inspect partitions and sectors, run surface scans and checksums, preview recoverable files in-app, and extract standard optical (ISO 9660, Joliet, Rock Ridge, El Torito, CD-i, VCD) and CD-DA audio tracks.
IsoHappy Personal Pro: A one-time lifetime license for one individual across the Macs you personally own and operate, unlocking extraction of deleted/unlinked records, signature-carved files, and non-ISO volumes (UDF, DVD-Video, NTFS, FAT/exFAT, HFS/HFS+, EXT/XFS), plus multi-pass .ibp/.ibq managed image completion.
IsoHappy Forensic Pro: A one-time lifetime commercial and laboratory license permitting use in commercial, institutional, library, museum, and DFIR environments, including custom .rules carving, NTFS Alternate Data Streams, HFS+ Resource Forks, custom extent engineering, and DFXML v1.2 audit exports.

2. Read-Only Forensics & No Warranty of Data Recovery

IsoHappy opens source disk images in read-only mode. Because storage media may suffer physical platter degradation, overwritten sectors, or irreversible corruption, the Software is provided “as is” without warranty that any specific file can be recovered. That is why IsoHappy provides free in-app inspection and file previews (< 5 MB) prior to purchase.

3. Refunds

Because IsoHappy lets you mount, scan, and preview recoverable files in-app for free before purchasing, we encourage you to verify your media first. If you experience a technical issue with a direct-download license purchased via Payhip within 14 days of purchase, contact [email protected] and we will resolve the issue or refund your order. Mac App Store purchases are subject to Apple’s refund policies.
