This policy describes what IsoHappy (published by Serious Business Software LLC) collects and why.

Your disk images and recovered files stay on your Mac

IsoHappy parses disk images, optical media tracks, partition tables, and file system structures entirely on your Mac in local user-space memory. Your disk images, file listings, checksums, and extracted files are never uploaded to any server.

Telemetry and analytics in the app

The IsoHappy macOS application collects no telemetry, no usage analytics, and no crash reports behind your back. Offline license keys (ISOHAPPY-PERS-... and ISOHAPPY-FPRO-...) are verified locally on your device. If you purchase through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the transaction via StoreKit 2 according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Broken Image Bounty diagnostic submissions

If you voluntarily choose to export a 64 KB diagnostic sector header dump (Help → Export 64 KB Diagnostic Header Dump) and email it to us for the Broken Image Bounty program, we use that file solely to reproduce and fix the parser issue and add a regression test. You can inspect the diagnostic file locally before sending it.

This website (isohappy.app) uses Abner, a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics tool. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not track individuals across sites.
